The date of birth filled in by the candidate in the DSSC Wellington online application form and the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Advanced Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Defense Staff College (DSSC) for determination of age and no subsequent change request or award will be considered. All applications will be reviewed based on age limits, minimum qualifications, documents and certifications. Thereafter, eligible candidates will be notified for the written test. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test. The written test will be based on minimum academic qualifications. The written test includes –

• (i) General intelligence and reasoning
• (ii) Digital capabilities
• (3) General English
• (iv) General awareness

The question and answer papers will be in English and Hindi. Necessary number of candidates will be shortlisted and required to undergo skill/physical fitness test where applicable based on merit/category in written examination.

Candidates should submit the application form along with self-certified copies of necessary documents to the following address before or on the day of application deadline only through Indian Postal Service. Applications received after the last date (30 March 2024) or incomplete in any respect will not be considered.

Copies of the following certificates should be sent with the application. Original documents/certificates should not be sent with the application.

• Educational and professional qualifications.
• Caste certificate, if the candidate belongs to the reserved category.
• Proof of residence and proof of residence.
• Copy of birth certificate/age certificate.
• Self-certified copy Adal card.
• Empirical evidence (if applicable).
• A 10×22 cm self-addressed envelope with a stamp of Rs.26/-.
• The application form needs to be filled out in English, signed and accompanied by a self-certifying photo.
• Attach other necessary documents to the application form.

Interested candidates should send their applications as per the attached format and duly sealed in the envelope to subscribe to the text “Apply for _________category_____ position” on top of the envelope.

• Complete all fields on the application form yourself, using plain capital letters.
• Candidates can fill the application form in English or Hindi.
• Applications should be made individually for each position. A candidate may submit only one application.
• The date of the written test/skill or skill test/interview, as applicable, will be notified to the eligible candidates.
• No clearcutting or overharvesting is allowed on the DSSC Wellington application form.
• Incomplete, incorrect, incorrectly completed, overwritten, no signature, no photo DSSC Wellington applications will be rejected.
• The Office of the Defense Staff College (DSSC) is not responsible for any type of mailing delays.
• Candidates must fill in their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as per the name on the admission certificate, otherwise their candidacy will be cancelled, upon receipt of notification from the Defense Staff College (DSSC).
